Social Distance is not Spiritual Separation!

Social Distance is not Spiritual Separation! post image

Today I just want to connect and send my love and greetings to you.

How are you?

I know, this question can be just an off-hand formality, and we might not pay much attention to its true dimension.

The question cannot always be answered in its full scope. Our quick response is usually Good, thank you, or, I’m hanging in there, or I’m fine.

On only rare occasions, will we take the time to express exactly how we truly ARE.

Today, if I have to give a short answer to that question, I’d say I’m overwhelmed!

Each day my siblings and I have had to come up with new strategies to help my parents face their age-related difficulties, aggravated now by unprecedented world events, including quarantine and restricted movement.

I am sure that you have your own set of challenges and fears as we ride this crazy rollercoaster.

I don’t want to add to your burden with my challenges but to send you a word of encouragement from a place of empathy and understanding.

Do everything in your power to stay calm and centered and take care of your physical and emotional wellbeing!

Stay connected with those you love.

Remember that social distance is not spiritual separation.

Let’s greet each other with prayer hands and bows rather than kisses and hugs, and let’s keep on being creative.

My life greets your light!
