Programs
Leyla Torres is available for school visits to present programs addressing the creative challenges involved in developing ideas of writing and illustrating a book.
The following programs are available, and may be conducted in either English or Spanish:
• Description of the book-making process
• Art and writing workshops
• Origami presentations and workshops
How to cultivate a creative frame of mind is at the core of these programs which also includes the relevant topic of process. The ideas presented in these workshops are tailored to the age group being addressed, and are equally applicable to other areas of interest where creativity is an essential skill in producing original material.
